HPWJ "Class A" Awareness (Introduction to high pressure water jetting)

Brief outline of training

High Pressure Water Jetting Awareness covers training for beginners and those requiring an overview of high pressure water jetting safety.

This course is delivered in accordance with AS24233.1 2013 Part 1 High Pressure Water Jetting Systems Safe Operation and Maintenance and SafeWork NSW's – Guide for managing Risks from High Pressure Water Jetting.

Who should attend this course

Persons requiring knowledge of safe work practices for High Pressure Water Jetting.

Assessment

Assessment will consist of some written activities with multiple answer question format plus, a practical assessment covering the use of equipment and a practical test in high pressure water blasting.

The operation of Class B High Pressure Water Jetting Equipment requires mandatory accredited MSASS00002 HPWJ Assistants training for gun operators and MSASS00003 HPWJ Operators training for persons responsible for the safe operation of equipment and personnel safety (SUPERVISORY).
